About

Hello! Do you like birds? Well you're on the right lab website, friend. Welcome to the Yanagitsuru Lab, in the Department of Biology and Earth Systems Science at Wilkes University. Our work focuses on the behavior, physiology, ecology, and conservation of birds.

Our mission is to conduct research that is meaningful and rigorous. Wilkes University is a primarily undergraduate institution, so we have a strong focus on mentorship and helping our undergraduate members get the training and experience they need to be successful in their careers.
