Aidan Hannon is an early career avian ecologist. He is a research assistant at and received his B.S. from Wilkes University (2026). He is currently working to identify essential habitat composition for threatened and endangered raptor species in Pennsylvania, working with Ovenbirds looking into territory and aggression behavioral research, and conducting passive acoustic monitoring for breeding and migratory birds. He is very excited to begin working on Atlantic Puffin behavioral research and continuing to contribute towards avian conservation. In his free time he loves to hawkwatch, read, and play D&D and boardgames.
